Album: The Florida ZEPHYR
The ZEPHYR is a woodstrip/epoxy rendition of a classic Canadian Runabout. It was fully redesigned by Steve Killing and will be powered by a 25 h.p. motor. This boat was completed September 2005 and now resides in Florida where it is to enjoyed year round.

Album: Dan's 15' RANGER
Dan has enlisted the assistance of his friend Caro to produce this canoe in record time. This one needs to completed by July 1,2005 and it is now May 3 as the work began.

Album: Al Hanson's Ontario WHITEHALL
Al is one brave fellow. He came to the shop to arrange the building of our 16' rowing boat. BUT...we had planned to build one as a demonstration at the 2005 Cottage Life Show. Little did Al know what he was in for...

Album: Derrick Joyce's 15' RANGER
Derrick arrived at the shop to lend a hand to his friend Craig-whose collection of photos is here also- and decided he would make a canoe for his summer place.

Album: Jerry Lemay's 15' RANGER
Jerry Lemay is a man on a mission! His business is seasonal and that season is approaching as spring 2005 looms. So, he is going at a torrid pace building this Ranger.

Album: Bob Dorey's 17' kayak-ENDEAVOUR
Bob Dorey planned this project about one year ago;and, with retirement now a reality, the kayak building project has begun.

Album: Peter and David Feindel's 16' 6" RESOLUTE kayak
Peter and David are friends of the shop. Last year, Peter built a kayak and David built a Whitehall rowing boat.This winter's project is the one person RESOLUTE kayak-the first built in our shop.

Album: John McDonald's 16' PROSPECTOR 'Fort
Now this project was a surprise for John on Christmas Day! He had been thinking about this boat and, with retirement looming, it seemed to be a great way to begin that phase of his life.

Album: Gary Bryson's TRUE NORTH kayak
Gary had actually purchased a set on molds to build a 17' kayak but decided to build at Canadian Canoes and to make the larger True North.

Album: Susan and Shannon McGlynn's 15' RANGER
Susan is someone we have known since she was a youngster. Along with her husband Shannon, they are making this canoe with the help of Sue's father John Healy who was involved in the very first canoe building classes we had 25 years ago.

Album: Tom Payne's 17' ENDEAVOUR kayak
Tom has been waiting for a few weeks to get started on this project. I think he spent all that time making up the most intricate accent pattern we have ever had to do.

Album: Paul Mallany's 16' PROSPECTOR FORT
We don't know all the secret details involved with Paul's project. We have been led to believe that, in a few months, someone will be most appreciative of all this work. The classic Prospector-a continuing favourite.

Album: Michael and Alec Steirman's FREEDOM 17
Michael, with his son Alec, had been thinking about this project for some time. Perhaps inspired somewhat by the Freedom 17 built by Grant Moffat, they decided that this canoe would be the right one for them.

Album: Daisuke Tanase's 17'kayak ENDEAVOUR
Daisuke is a young university graduate (geography) from Japan living in Canada for one year. One of his ambitions while here is to build his own kayak. In late October 2004, he has started that process.

Album: Neil Dellandrea's HURON CRUISER
Neil is one of the few people we know who owns and paddles a birch bark canoe. He has a number of other canoes and decided to build this sleek 15'9" woodstrip-epoxy version of a classic wood canvas canoe from Peterborough.

Album: John Tantalo's 19' kayak the TRUE NORTH
John has been kayaking for some years and had been contemplating making his own wood kayak. The TRUE NORTH is a big kayak well suited to the man who will paddle it.

Album: Bernie and Wendy Hoehle's 16' PROSPECTOR FORT
This PROSPECTOR canoe project has been on Bernie's wish list for some time. On the occasion of their recent wedding, Wendy's gift to Bern was this canoe!

Album: Ray Desrochers' 14'10" OSPREY
This is the first OSPREY(a solo canoe designed by John Winters) which has been built in our shop. Ray paddled a fibreglass version and wanted to make his of real wood.
