We had simply neglected to take a lot of photos of this process; however, here is a big moment when the hull is removed from the mold.

This classic 15' canoe which we call the Canadian Explorer was built on a mold which we purchased when the Chestnut Canoe Co. closed many years ago.

Here is Bob on launch day, spring of 2002. This man devoted a lot of time and care in the making of the canoe.

When Chestnut made the canoe, it was known as the Prospector RANGER. Here Bob is paddling on the first of many days of what will be enjoyable paddling.
